Web and Interactive
Digital Media Services strives to implement a consistent user experience for KU. We are part of the KU Web Strategy Team, a collaborative effort with Enterprise Web Services. This team is responsible for creating and overseeing KU’s home page and second-level pages as well as select university wide sites.
KU is an active and innovative presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and newer social media sites such as Flickr, Foursquare, Instagram, and Pinterest. We present KU in appealing ways that spur interaction with students, alumni, and friends around the world.
The KU Content Management System
The mission of the University of Kansas is to lift students and society by educating leaders, building healthy communities, and making discoveries that will change the world. To achieve this mission, it’s essential that KU has a robust website that provides relevant online resources in a user-friendly way, while also maintaining a consistent, high-quality look that reflects KU’s status as a top research university.
Our content management system (CMS) is a powerful tool that meets these objectives and dramatically improves the way we share content online.
