Design, Copywriting, and Editorial
Marketing Communications oversees such Visual Identity issues as signatures and logos, business cards, stationery, templates, and use of the Jayhawk. We also maintain the brand voice of KU and follow university brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials.
Art Direction and Design
Graphic designers — in collaboration with Editorial, Digital, or Social Media colleagues — work with clients to create a range of materials in many formats, from postcards and brochures to annual reports and event programs.
Editorial and Copywriting
Editorial Services tells the KU story in print, online, video, and through social media. We create print and online recruiting and admissions communications, and other university-wide materials such as programs for Commencement; print and online reports by the chancellor, the provost or other officials; and the KU maps, visitor guides, and student planners.
Our writers and editors — in conjunction with designers, photographers, video, and web — assist university clients with concepts, themes, content, writing, and editing.
