Erinn Barcomb-Peterson joined the KU News Service in July 2014, having previously served as director of News/Editorial Services at Kansas State University. 

A KU alumna, Barcomb-Peterson began at Kansas State in 2005, serving in positions ranging from campus news coordinator to research news and features coordinator, before becoming news director in 2011. Prior to her time at Kansas State, she was the design editor at the Ottawa Herald and a reporter for the Eudora News.

Barcomb-Peterson holds a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism & Mass Communications.
